Good afternoon, teachers. Thank you for taking your time. It’s really my honor to have this opportunity to take part in this interview. Now, I would like to introduce myself briefly.
  
My name is Lucas. I am 23 years old and born in Luoyang. I graduated from Henan University of Science and Technology in July, 2014 and major in Pharmaceutical Engineering. 
During the past studing years in USTC, it gives me a lot of things to learn,a lot of chances to try,and a lot of practices to improve myself. It teaches me not only what to study and how to think, but also to see the importance of practical ability. 
Also, I have made many good friends,(such as LIBOQIANG KEYANJIE XIAOCHEN and so on). We often get together to review for the final exam. They help me in many subjects and improve my study, more importantly, they give me a good example to follow. 
Now I am taking my internship in Suzhou AiSpeech company and have been prepareing for the TOFLE and GRE examination while taking my internship. I work by day and study by night. It is a substantial period time and I have realized the imp of an learning oppotunity. 

Therefore, based on one year learning in USTC and the next year intership which can improve my practival ability in this field, I am actually confident to finish the Clemson studying work.

During the past studing years in USTC, I have learned a lot of professional knowledge and practical skills, but gradually, I realize it is not enough, especially when encountered working problem in Speech. I desire to acquire more knowledge in this field. Life is precious, further study is actually urgent for me. So I want to catch this opportunity for self-development. Only a goal can make your experience more valuable. Therefore, I prefer to go on for further education.

As for the point of my studying plan, If I got a chance to study there, There must be many things to learn. I would like to continue to accept professional training, in order to get ready for working in the future.  I hope I can build up a systematic view of CS. In additon, it is prioritize to finish the research paper in USTC before it.
  
On the other hand, I am dreaming of the participation of some relevant projects of my major, for this reason, I will get more experience in practice. In a word, I am looking forward to making up a solid foundation for future profession which is based on one year of study there.

My major is Pharmaceutical Engineering in XX University.It has a great relationship with biology scince.Their relationship can be shown with an example: Just like a river,biology science,which often finds new discoveries and theories, is at the head of the river.And my major,which lays more stress on practical use, seems to be at the end of it.When both of them interact well enough,the discovries and theories in biology science can be soon turned into products in all of the modern industry.
